The power difference between Mayors and CEOs.

This study investigates the differences between the perceptions of Mayors and Chief Executive Officers with regard to stakeholder attributes of power, legitimacy and urgency and the stakeholder salience in infrastructure assets decisions. Stakeholder groups are categorised into public and higher-tier government level. The findings have implications for infrastructure practices and policies at the highest level of governance of local authorities.
